Our work with award-winning architecture practice JaK Studio focuses on telling the intriguing stories behind their distinctive, often quirky, work and instilling all press communications with a sense of their progressive approach to design.

Some of the projects we have secured coverage for include their imaginative ‘Spyglass beach hut’ for Eastbourne seafront, the RIBA-commissioned Listening Project Booth for BBC Radio 4, Villa Brash in Saint Tropez, London’s first ‘Invisible House’, and ‘L20’, a reimagining of the sofa into a multipurpose piece of furniture that transforms into a working pod or sofa bed in response to lockdown.

Our work has resulted in dozens of new business enquiries for the studio.

More recently in 2021, in response to the growing need for flexible spaces, TDC worked with JaK Studio to launch Home Office Module Cubed (HOM3), modular cabins inspired by Minecraft.

Flexible enough to fit a city terrace, suburban garden or country field, HOM3 enables individuals to create beautiful work, living and leisure spaces that are entirely customisable. Individuals can configure the size and shape to specific needs and tailor the fittings, furniture or finish.

Sleep pods can be paired with workstations to create iconic spaces from home offices and gyms, to music studios or a children’s tree house.

The project received a wide mix of press coverage including The Sunday Times, Designboom, Wallpaper, GQ Italia, Elle Decor Italia, Ideal Home, Tree Hugger and Hong Kong Economic Times.
