For Milan Design Week 2025, TDC, industrial design consultancy Morrama and global performance, running and lifestyle brand, Saucony launched OOO Run Club – a new initiative aimed at bringing the global creative community together through movement.
OOO (short for “Out of Office”) aims to disrupt rigid networking cultures by presenting an alternative which encourages participants to come together, get moving and make authentic connections outside the usual event spaces and parties that are a part of MDW.
The thinking behind the idea is that stepping out of routine environments encourages more meaningful conversations. The OOO name playfully nods to this — taking attendees “out of office” and into the streets of Milan for a 5K run.
The run was a big success – attracting a broad mix of global and local creatives across different disciplines. The informal setting helped participants forge more genuine connections than a traditional panel talk or cocktail event might allow. Additionally, the blending of fitness with creativity ensured the event stood out from the saturated schedule of exhibitions and parties during MDW.
On the ground in Milan we secured the support of the brilliant team at Crusher Running Club who provided pacers and guides who helped deliver a run which took in a wide variety of famous Milan sights.
Taking place during one of the most prestigious design festivals in the world, the event gave TDC, Morrama and Saucony exposure to global media, influencers, and potential collaborators.
